The formal gardens are the heart of Washington Oaks.

Lined with brick walkways, colorful seasonal flowers, fountains, and majestic oak trees, this area feels elegant, peaceful, and timeless.

Spring (March–May)

One of the most beautiful times of year.

Comfortable temperatures, blooming flowers, and vibrant gardens make spring an incredibly popular season!

Summer (June–August)

Expect lush greenery and beautiful sunrises and sunsets, but also warm temperatures and afternoon thunderstorms!

Fall (September–November)

One of Florida's hidden gems.

Slightly cooler temperatures and fewer visitors make this a wonderful time for an intimate elopement!

Winter (December–February)

Florida's winter is one of my favorite seasons for outdoor weddings.

Late afternoon is my favorite time to photograph at Washington Oaks!

As the sun gets lower in the sky, the gardens are bathed in warm, golden light, creating an amazing glow that's perfect for portraits. After exploring the gardens, we can head across to the coquina rock shoreline for more dramatic coastal scenery and finish the evening watching the pink skies and waves roll in.
